Skye, Swan 53
Some of this summer’s activities included new deck hardware for Skye, a Swan 53 that had all the teak replaced. Winches were moved from the mast and placed by the forward companionway, new clutches, mainsheet system, primary winches and an asym bow pole were added.

1903 Wilbur Morse Friendship sloop

Re-rig for a 1903 Wilbur Morse Friendship sloop took up a fair amount of time. New standing rigging and running rigging.
Conyplex Contessa mast rebuild
One mast was taken apart and repaired. Dry rot had destroyed the spreader roots and began to weaken the middle of the mast. Seams opened in the lower panels of the rig. New Sitka spruce was glued in. The final result is a like new mast. Below: mast headed for stepping.
